If you want to add a pause add <BREAK/ > into your text.
Example: What is 3 + 3 <Break /> 6
Or you can use <Break time="3s" /> to add a 3 second break.
Example: What is 3 + 3 <Break time="3s" /> 6

Want to create a dialog between two different voices talking. Maybe to hear your screen play or novel read to you?
Here is how you can do it:
Wrap the text you want in a different voice as follows.
<voice gender=”male, female, neutral” >...</voice>
For example:
Where do you want to eat tonight?
<voice gender=”female”> Let’s go for pizza </voice>
Listen to it
For this test I set my default voice in the list provided on the New Recordings tab to
Mike
This way you only have to put the tags around one of the talkers and not both.

I have not heard it yet on The LiVE 88.5 Start Up. I keep missing it. Life is very busy in the mornings when you have three little kids to get ready
But form what I have heard it came out well.

We have made the Audio Book and Multiple MP3 formats optional for all paid accounts.
This way only the people who need them can ask to have them created by checking either the “Create Audio Book file” or “Create multiple mp3 file” options at the bottom of the New Recordings page.
This should speed up conversion times for everyone.
Happy recording
